The Rogen lake system in Sweden is the archetypal northern Scandinavian landscape. Thousands of lakes sprinkled through rolling forrest and marshland. This trip set off from Funäsdalen, with seven keen adventurers looking to spend some time in this remote area. My job as expedition photographer was to document the trip as part of a small book project. Below are a few shots that aimed to tell the story of what the trip;
At times the navigation was challenging, given the intricate nature of the system but there were also plenty of open water opportunities
